FAQS
Your Most Asked Questions, Answered By Our Owner
Q: How do I know if my septic system is failing?
A: You may notice overflow or standing water in your leach field area. This is a sign that your system isn’t draining properly and may be damaged. A foul smell is due to your system backing up. Your sinks and toilets may not drain or flush properly, showing signs that your system isn’t in working order.
Q: Where do I start if I need a new septic system?
A: The first step is to talk to a septic designer. They will arrange for test pits to be dug to determine the best location for your system and the type of system you will need. Test pits are done by a machine and an operator. We are happy to provide those services and can work with a designer to get your design taken care of. We also work closely with several septic designers we would be happy to recommend them.
Q: How much does a septic installation cost?
A: We cannot provide a cost for installation without a septic design as several factors go into the total cost such as the type of system, the size of the system, existing conditions of the property, if we have to bring in additional materials, haul material off site, remove any trees, access to the site, repave any disturbed area, etc.
Q: How long does a septic installation take?
A: Typically, 3-5 business days for the installation, then we will submit a request for inspection to the state. The inspection from the state will take a couple of business days, and then we can return to backfill the system and do the final grading.
Q: What areas do you service?
A: We are located and work out of Epsom, NH, and do our best to service all over NH. We will travel to where the jobs are, within reason.
Q: Do you offer warranties?
A: We offer a one-year workmanship warranty, and then typically our suppliers offer their own warranties for the materials purchased.
Q: What services do you provide?
A: You can find an extensive list of services under the "Services" tab above.
Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes, we are fully insured.
